Fufuh, it's already the mid-term of my 2nd year 2nd semester in TOA now and I shall record down what I feel about each subject so far:
SEA Culture Study - The "compulsory" theory subject for this semester, many names to memorize.
Most memorable: Happy family of Shiva
Concept art: The first lesson makes us feel like it's perspective class part 2 =.= However I'm catching up with the construction now and starting to enjoy casting shadow. (Yes! Finally can produce more realistic drawings!)
Most encouraging: Sir Amus says "well done"
3D basic modeling: This is what I'm looking for a long time!!!! *folds up sleeve and start constructing my dream land in Maya.
Most unexpected: Jason says "beau~tiful!" (and he is the one who cast the lighting)
2D animation 2: Using flash spares us from the suffering of manual drawing but somehow I miss the special touch of pencil lines. I'm not really into flash but I'm trying my best.
Most weird: I keep using the things I hate in real life as the subject (e.g. bread)
Digital Photography: I'm thankful that David allows us to use point and shoot camera as long as the outcome is nice. Initially I only take photographs based solely on my art sense (more likely intuition) along with some beginners' luck, at least now I can gradually see things in a more "photography" way
Most happy: David says "lovely" (:3)
Conceptual Rendering: We have to buy markers that cost a fortune!!! >.< But the class is enjoyable, I actually prefer markers than CG.
Ultimate goal: An "A-"!
I find myself quite enjoyable this semester, not as stressful as the previous ones (or I'm immune to the stress already) Hope I can have a nice collection of work to put in my portfolio by the end of the semester. Time flies when you have a bunch of things to work on. :3 Sore ja~
